This Superlight 299 is one of the lightest and touchiest, not too long euro-nymphing rods available and one of my personal favorites. If you fish more technical or smaller streams with light nymphing setups this rod is golden. The finished rod weighted right around 65-67grams. Beautiful golden brown-olive finished blank appointed in a very subdued color scheme with gold clear silk wraps. Slim snub-nose grip with reversed reel seat for balance and a micro fighting butt. Clear, red banded agate stripping guide, ultralight Recoil guides and one snake guide to minimise tangling. Proprietary, custom made aluminum rod tube.
