An amazingly colored CTS blank, and more amazing build outcome. Special all the way, this rod not only pops but casts buttery smooth. I would not call it x-fast action as CTS claims but more of a buttery medium fast to fast action. Nobody makes fast action rods like Sage does but it's interesting to see something else. An interesting build finished just recently for a gentleman in the UK. The rod features a shorter cigar grip for the italian style of casting, not my first choice on a blank like this, but it's really light and responsive for a nine foot five weight. Red-orange classic wraps with a twist of yellow here an there. Really a great rod design with modern technology from Gary Loomis's new rod company. The rod feels fast and responsive but bends really deep. All custom laser engraved aluminum black anodized rod tube. Happy New year everyone!
