Another Sage Mod finished. Similar to the first one, this Mod 490-4 was wrapped in a very light brown that turned very translucent. I find it very cool looking on this gorgeous jade green blank. The two-tone amboyna wood is just beautiful and the Bellinger aluminum hardware is a fine touch. Standard ceramic stripping guide with hard chrome snake guides finished with the utmost precision epoxy work. The handle is a comfortable western shape that I preffer on most dry fly rods. Dark red signature wraps and my hand script in a very sharp, sleek looking finish. This Mod rod casts as smooth as it looks and surely will make someone very happy. Thanks for looking!
