Hanak Superlight 10' #4

I finished this rod a while ago. This must be one sweet looking nymphing stick.

The Struble zebra wood coupled with the gold accents complement the light brown-olive colored blank beautifully. Hand made steel wire hook keeper with beautiful ultrapolished Struble nickel silver winding check.

Simply and cleanly appointed like usual, this rod "screams" quality.

I went for a snub-nose half wells grip because this rod will also be used to cast light streamers.

Very light in hand for a ten foot four weight, this is your high end, big river nymphing rod that's not too stiff nor tiring. Handcrafted leather case for this beauty. Here are a few pics.

Hanak Superb 10' #3

Another Hanak Superb XP (extra power), this time in a more popular size.

One of the best euro-nymphing rods in the game, this thing excels with ultralight feel, tip sensitivity and fish fighting power. I have to start weighting these rods are they are light for their size!

My absolute favorites are the new 093, 190, 196 and 299. Any of them could be my go-to's for technical water and they complement the Sage ultralights very well with longer lengths and more power. They are medium-fast to fast action rods with soft tips and reserve power without being stiff especially the 0, 1 and 2wt.

They are quite fun to cast, easy loading in close but the extra oomph will come into play you need to reach out further.

For the technical fisherman stalking trout in gin clear, fast flowing mountain streams or grayling on skinny tippets on either dries or small nymphs, these are the ultimate rods for finesse presentations and control over tricky currents.

Feel free to drop a message should you want one. Thanks for looking!

Hanak Superb XP

Hanak Superb XP 9'3" #0 is the newest and lightest euro-nymph rod model for those looking for the ultimate ultralight setup for tight line, euro style nymphing, long rod dry fly fishing, or long leader dry-dropper setups.

Appointed in a minimalist clean style with clear silk main wraps and gold ferrule wraps to complement the teak wood insert on this ultralight reel seat. Stealthy matte olive finish.

The rod has so much tip feel that is sweet when casting dries, with enough backbone for bigger fish should you strike one on the nymph. But a delight to fish on those finicky trout and grayling in smaller sizes.

This is the ultimate rod for fishing small flies, not only small fish, fish catching machine. I'm sold!

Thanks for looking. More are coming!

Tom Morgan

This rod is a Morgan replica build, "the Tom Morgan way".

This build was commissioned by a dear friend last fall and was lucky I could still find a blank and have it ready for the start of the season.

A gorgeously handcrafted, TMR engraved burgundy leather case was a must.

We decided to fit the rod with a Tiemco Oracle reel and a SA ART line. Can't praise enough how smooth these translucent burgundy beauties cast.

I love the end result, I'm sure Tom would have been happy to see it. This is "the thought rod".
