CTS Affinity One 9'6" #2

I built this rod three years ago for a friend. Since he can't do much fishing due to his condition, he asked me to sell it for him.

The rod has a beautiful medium fast action with good reserve power and would make a very nice ultralight nymphing/dry fly fishing rod. Color of the blank is a beautiful gloss brown wrapped in gold silk. It is appointed with bright nickel components, light wire guides, Struble dark amber agate stripping guide and a beautiful small diameter uplocking reel seat with spalted oak wood insert.

This beauty has never been fished so it's practically new. Comes with custom rod bag and aluminum rod  tube. Price is $485 plus shipping. You may contact me by email if interested and thank you for looking. The rod has SOLD!

Loop of the day

No I don't train for some "best of the west" competition, I simply love fly-casting. I get out while rods are on the drying rack to breath some fresh air instead of the epoxy vapors. I need to get a better camera for better quality pics and maybe do some filming sometime. Hope you'll like these photos below. These are the straightest, tightest loops I ever caught on camera. Now you know where the name comes from.

Besides the Rio Gold, Triangle Taper and other lines I enjoy casting, I had some great time casting the GT90 from Mike Barrio at Barrio fly lines in Scotland. Looking forward to try more of his great fly line designs.

And they are always better companion than most people I know.
