Five Rivers Signature III 8' 2/3wt.

This rod was a very special project I have to admit..a pure featherweight dry fly rod that will impress even the biggest Sage fans..
Not only that the customer had very good taste of components and cosmetics, but his taste fitted mine perfectly and it was pure pleasure to build this one. He wanted all the "goodies" like a beautiful Snake Brand Agate stripper guide, super tough&light wire Hopkins&Holloway snake guides and a classic custom cap and ring reel seat with amboyna spacer. He also wanted me to name this rod after his three weeks old daughter and a feather inlay to really complete the setup.
Even so, this baby was really hard to put in the mail box...gotta build one for myself next time..

Bamboo #002 done!!

Blankul este construit pe un taper-ul moderat rapid progresiv al lui Wayne Cattanach, un bamboo builder legendar american, care a dezvoltat cateva taper-uri celebre, pentru paraie si prezentari delicate, de 6', 6'3" si 6'6", in clasa 3.
Lanseta dupa cum se poate observa vine cu doua varfuri identice, ceea ce este deosebit de util in cazul unui accident, construirea/montarea unui alt varf putand dura din nou cateva luni.
A fost o totala surpriza si pentru Nicu si mai ales pentru mine, pentru nu puteam estima exact cat de bine sau cat de rau va iesi lanseta la final..dar se pare ca asteptarea a meritat..
Reactia lui Nicu la prima vedere a spus totul si sentimentul de satisfactie a fost reciproc.Pentru cei care n-au pus mana pe asa ceva le recomand calduros sa incerce..senzatia nu se compara cu nici un alt material. Nu e de mirare ca inca sunt atatia adepti chiar si cu atata tehnologie "hi-tech".
