Five Rivers Signature III - "presentation series"

Well, since I haven't posted any rods lately, I'm happy to show you a very special trout/grayling rod that I fished this season and had a lot of fun with...I truly recomend it if you are looking for the lightest fly rod to fish for very spooky trouts with tiny dry flies..this rod really "paints the fly on the water" and "feels" every subtle take of the fish..
I call it the "presentation" rod, because it's the most delicate and pleasant rod to cast from all of my custom rods.
The beautiful Agate guide, the silk wraps and the feather inlays really add a nice touch to this fine trout rod..

The elegant Struble seat and cigar grip give it classy look and the ultralight snake guides make a very well balanced light fly rod.The smooth medium to medium-fast action really helps when those delicate presentations with fine tippets are a must...I recently found that for migde activity in small lakes when there is not too much wind this rod is just perfect...I was able to cast up to 60' with a 3 wt. line...

It makes you wanna slow down a bit and take a brake from those ultra-fast rods to just remember what fly fishing is all about...“Presentation can be defined as the culmination of everything you are and everything you know and understand about the world of fly fishing.”, Gary Borger.

Tightloop Fly Fishing Adventures

Grayling FlyFishing Camp - Tara Bascelor (21-23 august)

Programul este in felul urmator:

Vineri 21 august:

Atentie!!
**Data stabilita se poate decala in functie de diverse probleme care pot interveni (concedii, vreme rea, suprapunerea cu alte evenimente, sarbatori, etc);

Troutbums of the Red Creek...

Here we are on the first Red Creek trip of the year..me and my buddy Zsolt and a new rookie...
A very hard road to get to a dry fly fishing paradise...
A first wonder of Mother Nature...
Plenty of dirt rods that almost "killed" the car to get to this "lodge":)
First encounter with my childhood creek...nice view through the "foggy" lens......and the bigger river formed by the Red Creek and another tributary...
...it's a feeling I can't really describe..but feels magical...
... searching for the right fly...Feels good fishin' my childhood water again...A lot of "pockets" in the upper part of the river...short precise casts to make that fly sit there a second or two...but that's a lot of time for the fish to take it:)...old memories shortly turn into reality...And the most beautiful trout in the world is still here...even though in smaller number&sizes...The european "brown" trout, or how we name it, the "indigen" trout...
...the old caddis pupa...
..more wonders of Mother Nature...
...maybe the most beautiful trout ever to be captured by our lens...
Thank you Mother Nature! We'll stick with these beauties in our minds until the next trip..Keep it tight to the bug!!
